Attorney Ruby Bolton, the founding attorney of Bolton Law in Texas, has long been an inspiration to our team and legal peers outside the firm. She is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, is a recognized Super Lawyers® member, and stays active as a community volunteer. Now, in continuation of her dedication to excellence and leadership, we are proud to announce that Attorney Ruby Bolton has been invited to be a Texas Bar Foundation Life Fellow.
For more than 60 years, the Texas Bar Foundation has helped advance and protect the rule of law in Texas through legal reviews, advocacy, and research. It also has a major focus on providing legal assistance to underserved communities statewide, which is a mission that resonates deeply with Attorney Bolton. This year, the Foundation estimates that it will award nearly $2 million overall to Texas non-profits, and it has awarded more than $30 million in grants since it was established.
To fund its charitable work and various programs, the Texas Bar Foundation accepts donations, often from legal professionals in the state. If an attorney donates a considerable sum and if they meet the Foundation’s high standards for community support and ethics in practice, then the attorney may be invited to become a Life Fellow. When this invitation was extended to Attorney Ruby Bolton, she graciously accepted it.
Now, she is part of a truly prestigious group within the Texas Bar Foundation. According to the Texas Bar Foundation website, “Each year, less than 1/3 of 1% attorneys are invited to become Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation.”
Please join our team in congratulating Attorney Ruby Bolton for achieving this high and rare honor. We know she’s earned it, and we look forward to seeing all the ways she will live up to the title of Texas Bar Foundation Life Fellow!
“I am honored to have been designated as a fellow to this organization that does so much good for Texans, and look forward to being actively involved in its future,” said Attorney Ruby Bolton after accepting the invitation to be a Texas Bar Foundation Life Fellow.
